PureEdge Solutions Forms Alliance With Texcel Systems

Partnership to provide customers with easy, cost-effective conversion of FormFlow® and other formats to PureEdge e-forms 

Victoria, BC – March 27, 2003 – PureEdge Solutions Inc., the leader in secure, XML forms-based business process management, today announced it has formed an alliance partnership with Texcel Systems, Inc. to enable conversion of proprietary electronic forms systems to PureEdge e-forms format, using the Texcel® FormBridge® software.

PureEdge customers can now use Texcel’s FormBridge to convert forms from sources including PDF, Word, JetForm®, FormFlow, other desktop products and paper to PureEdge XFDL format. With FormBridge, customers can now significantly shorten the time required to upgrade their forms technologies by converting existing forms to PureEdge. FormBridge produces clean, editable and fillable PureEdge e-forms, which can be quickly deployed.

The Texcel FormBridge solution is currently being used by the United States Air Force to convert their FormFlow e-forms to PureEdge’s secure XML e-forms. The project involves the conversion of more than 11,000 e-form pages into the new XML technology.

“We are using FormBridge to assist in the conversion from FormFlow to PureEdge for the U.S. Air Force,” said Fernan Dominguez, President of INFOCON, the firm subcontracted by Enterprise Information Management, Inc. to convert thousands of forms for the initial deployment of the new XML-based technology. “It has helped speed the process by streamlining the translation and maintaining the original form’s layout so our designers can complete the work needed to meet the Air Force’s standards.”
