What does FormBridge® create?

FormBridge converts your forms into automated electronic forms. It creates native files in Microsoft^® Office InfoPath^®, Cardiff LiquidOffice^™, PureEdge/IBM^® Lotus^® Forms, JetForm Design^™, Adobe^® Output Designer, Mi-Forms^™, Classic FormFlow^®, FormFlow 99 and Adobe Form Designer. FormBridge preserves the appearance of the original forms. The new forms are fully editable just as if you had created them by hand in the forms design package. And FormBridge automatically creates fillable fields — even when the original files have none.

What does FormBridge convert from?

FormBridge converts from almost any application or file type. The most common are PDF, Word, QuarkXPress, PageMaker, WordPerfect, Excel, F3, OmniForm, JetForm Design, and FormFlow. Have an uncommon application? Check with us. Most likely, FormBridge can convert that too.

Can FormBridge convert paper forms?

Yes. You use scanning/OCR software to first get the forms into electronic format. Then use FormBridge to convert the forms into fully editable e-forms. Of course, if the forms are already in an electronic format such as PDF or Word, it is better to translate them directly instead of scanning paper copies.

Can FormBridge convert between JetForm Design, Adobe Output Designer, FormFlow and Adobe Designer?

Yes. FormBridge is the best way to convert between the JetForm/Adobe family of products.

How does FormBridge enhance LiquidOffice support for PDF?

LiquidOffice can import PDF files as backgrounds (non-editable) and optionally convert fields if they are present. FormBridge converts PDF files into fully editable native LiquidOffice XML format. And FormBridge automatically creates fields — even when the original files have none.

Can FormBridge convert forms created in different languages?

Yes. FormBridge can convert forms in languages that use the Windows Latin 1 character set such as English, French, German, Spanish, and Italian. It can also convert multi-lingual forms.

What about fonts?

FormBridge retains the same fonts from the original form if the fonts are available on your system. Otherwise FormBridge looks for the closest match. You may also specify explicit substitutions, e.g. replace Helvetica with Arial.

Can FormBridge convert multi-page forms?

Yes. You can convert an entire multi-page form or select a range of pages for conversion.

Does FormBridge do batch translations?

Yes. If you select multiple files, FormBridge will process them in a batch and create a status log of the results.
